Police identify man who died after shooting in St. Paul’s Frogtown neighborhood

St. Paul police have identified a man who was shot Tuesday and later died.

The shooting happened around 5:30 p.m. in the area of Blair and Como avenues, in St. Paul’s Frogtown neighborhood.

Police arrived and found a man—identified Thursday as 31-year-old Kyle Quinn, of St. Paul—suffering from apparent gunshot wounds outside a residence.

Medics took Quinn to Regions Hospital where he later died, police said.

Police said a 31-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Ramsey County Jail on suspicion of murder in connection with the incident.

St. Paul Police Sgt. Natalie Davis said the incident marked the third homicide in St. Paul this year.
