1 injured in Brooklyn Park shooting

Police say one person is recovering from non-life-threatening injuries following a shooting Sunday night in Brooklyn Park.

Officers were called to a home in the area of Boone and 63rd avenues just after 10 p.m. on a report of a person who was bleeding.

At first, the responding officers weren’t able to find anyone when they arrived, but they learned a person had arrived at the Hennepin County Medical Center to be treated for a gunshot wound.

The victim was released from the hospital.
