Wild forward Kirill Kaprizov skated with the team on Wednesday morning and is expected to play Friday vs. the Ducks. KSTP Sports was at practice Wednesday.

"Unless something unforeseen happens, he (Kaprizov) looked good. Nice to have lots of bodies back. We thought he (Kaprizov) competed hard in today’s scrimmage," said Wild head coach Dean Evason.

Kaprizov was injured in Boston last week when Trent Frederic checked him into the boards. Kaprizov has made enough progress with his rehab where Evason will have his star forward back in the lineup.

"These guys are in terrific shape and can recover quickly. He (Kaprizov) is certainly in that category," Evason added.

Other notes from the Wild: Rem Pitlick and Victor Rask were placed on waivers. Pitlick was claimed by the Montreal Canadiens.
