1 dead after crash involving semi in Alexandria
One person died when their vehicle collided with a semi truck that was blocking both lanes of a road in Alexandria.
Police said the crash happened at 7:45 p.m. along the 2600 block of 34th Avenue West.
The driver of the semi was uninjured, but the driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene
The Alexandria Police Department said the names of both drivers and other details will be released following family notification.
