After both not playing since Dec. 22, the Gophers and Illinois return to action Tuesday night at the Barn. Gophers forward Jamison Battle and guard Luke Loewe met with reporters on Monday.

Illinois is coming off a Covid shutdown, while the Gophers had their game on Dec. 29 canceled after Alcorn State had its own outbreak.
Illinois is 2-0 in Big Ten games, the Gophers are 1-1.
