Frey sworn in for 2nd term as Minneapolis mayor
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey was sworn in for a second term Monday.
Frey won a second term in November after two rounds of vote tabulation as part of the city’s ranked-choice voting system.
In November, voters also approved Question 1 on the ballot, which shifted the city’s government to a "strong mayor" structure instead of its previous setup, giving the mayor administrative authority over all departments.
Since then, Frey has announced the formation of various workgroups, including one meant to advise him amid the transition.
