Minneapolis home damaged by fire, 6 displaced

Officials say all residents in a Minneapolis home were able to escape when a fire broke out Tuesday morning.
According to the Minneapolis Fire Department, crews were called to a home located on the 400 block of Lowry Avenue Northeast just before 8 a.m.
A second alarm was called so additional firefighters and equipment were available, and crews had extinguished the fire by 10 a.m.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known and is under investigation.
Due to the damage, the home was deemed uninhabitable. The fire department said the American Red Cross was called to help two adults and four children displaced by the fire.
