Maybe the mandatory NHL break will help the Wild. With injuries and a four-game losing streak, the Wild could use some time off. We were at their final practice Tuesday before they shutdown until next Monday.
"We haven’t played poorly, but we have to get back to playing our game. We need to get back to our identity of who we are. Hopefully, we can get healthy and get our four lines together," said Wild head coach Dean Evason.

This is the longest losing streak for the Wild this season. Previously, the team hadn’t lost more than two games in a row.
The Wild’s latest injury is center Joel Eriksson Ek. He suffered an upper-body injury during Monday’s loss at Dallas. He’s expected to miss a good bit of time.
The NHL will shut down from Wednesday through Sunday with the rise in COVID-19 cases league-wide. That means many games scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday have been postponed, including the Wild vs. Red Wings. NHL practice facilities will be closed through the holiday weekend.
The Wild are scheduled to next play on Monday night at Winnipeg.
