Teen taken to hospital after shooting in north Minneapolis

A teenager was taken to a hospital Monday night after a shooting in north Minneapolis.

According to Minneapolis Police, officers responded to a shooting in the 2100 block of Dupont Avenue North at about 8:07 p.m. and found a teenage, juvenile girl suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

The girl was taken to a hospital for treatment but wasn’t able to provide detailed information about what happened.

An investigation is underway.
