Timberwolves’ Vanderbilt and Beverley enter league’s Covid protocols
Two more Timberwolves have entered the NBA’s health and safety Covid protocols, a source confirmed to KSTP. The two players are starters Jarred Vanderbilt and Patrick Beverley. The Athletic was the first to report the news. Both contributed in big ways in Sunday night’s win at Target Center over Dallas.
The Wolves’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday at Dallas. Vanderbilt and Beverley join Anthony Edwards, Taurean Prince, and Josh Okogie as being unavailable while being on the Covid protocols list.
Look for the Wolves to add a couple players from their G League affiliate for the games this week at Dallas and Utah.
Players in the health and safety protocols must be sidelined at least 10 days or record two negative COVID-19 tests in a 24-hour period before they can resume basketball activities.
The Wolves have won 4 straight games.
