Vikings claim RB Gallman, place 3 on COVID list

Monday, the Minnesota Vikings made a series of roster moves.
The team placed three players on the Reserve/COVID-19 list: running back Alexander Mattison, special teams ace Dan Chisena and practice squad guard Kyle Hinton.
The team also claimed running back Wayne Gallman off waivers. Gallman was released Saturday after appearing in six games with the Atlanta Falcons this season. He had 28 carries for 104 yards this season, plus one catch for 21 yards.
Additionally, the Vikings placed Eden Prairie native and linebacker Ryan Connelly on injured reserve. He’s appeared in 12 games for Minnesota this season, totaling three tackles.
