Benilde-St. Margaret’s boys hockey ready to get back to state tourney

The Benilde-St. Margaret’s Red Knights boys hockey team is ranked No. 4 in Class 2A. After three games this season, they sit at 2-1. KSTP Sports stopped by a recent practice.

They are in one of the toughest sections in Minnesota and have not been able to break through since winning the state tournament in the 2011-12 season. The team is ready and has the talent to get to state this season.

Head coach Ken Pauly discussed what he told his team heading into last season’s offseason to get them prepared for this season, how tough of a section they are in, what a tough schedule does to help the team, and the team’s expectations for this season.
