Vikings activate Patrick Peterson from COVID list

The Minnesota Vikings are close to getting its top cornerback back.
The team on Tuesday activated Patrick Peterson from the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
Peterson was placed on the list last week and missed Minnesota’s loss on Sunday at Detroit.
With a short week as the Vikings host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday, it’s no guarantee that Peterson will be ready for the team’s next game but it’s certainly a step in the right direction.
