COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 11 new deaths, 938 new cases

Wisconsin health officials on Friday announced 11 new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 6,151 deaths since the pandemic began.
Additionally, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) reported 55 new hospitalizations, moving the total number of hospitalizations during the pandemic to 25,197.
A total of 554,048 positive cases of COVID-19 have now been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 938 new cases reported Friday.

As of Friday, DHS reports that more than 3.11 million people have been tested in the state.
The state’s seven-day average positivity rate by test is at 3.5%.
DHS said the state has been allocated 1,152,025 vaccine doses so far. Of those, 901,333 had been administered as of Friday, and 213,571 people had completed the two-shot vaccine series.
