For the first time since playing Feb. 2, the Wild returned to the ice on Friday. They practiced at the ‘X’ and plan on doing so again Saturday and Sunday. The plan is to resume game action Tuesday in Los Angeles. The Wild were shutdown following a Covid outbreak.
Players who practiced Friday: Mats Zuccarello, Matt Dumba, Marcus Foligno, Kirill Kaprizov, Kevin Fiala, Ryan Hartman, Zach Parise, Ryan Suter, Jordan Greenway, Matt Bartkowski, Gerald Mayhew, Dakota Mermis, Calen Addison, Luke Johnson, Andrew Hammond, and Kaapo Kahkonen.
We heard post-practice from GM Bill Guerin, coach Dean Evason, defenseman Matt Dumba, and forwards Mats Zuccarello and Marcus Foligno.

Foligno, who this week came off the Covid list, detailed his battle against the virus.
Dumba, who appeared to suffer a pretty serious lower-body injury before the shutdown, said he feels good and is ready to go on Tuesday.
Zuccarello had arm surgery in November and was sidelined, so Friday was his first practice of the season.
