Allina Health holds moment of silence in honor of Lindsay Overbay, victims of Buffalo clinic shooting

Friday, Allina Health held a moment of silence at noon in honor of Lindsay Overbay and the four other employees injured in the shooting at the Buffalo clinic earlier this week.

Overbay was killed in Tuesday’s shooting; three others remained in the hospital, Friday — two in good condition, one in fair condition — and the other victim was discharged earlier this week. Three of the victims have been identified as Sherry Curtis, Tammy Schaufler and Antonya Fransen-Pruden.

Allina said CEO Penny Wheeler and President and COO Lisa Shannon were at the clinic on Friday for the moment of silence, and spent time with the staff impacted by the tragedy.

"I was honored to spend time today meeting with members of our Allina Health family that have been so closely impacted by Tuesday’s tragic events," Wheeler said. "Even in our darkest hour, they continue to inspire me with their compassion for their colleagues and the greater Buffalo community. I could not be prouder to be a part of this amazing team."
