Former Vikings guard Steve Hutchinson voted to Pro Football Hall of Fame

The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced its 2020 inductees, and a former Minnesota Viking made the cut.
Guard Steve Hutchinson, who spent six seasons with the Vikings from 2006-2011, will be enshrined in Canton, Ohio, along with four other members of this year’s Hall of Fame cohort.

Four of Hutchinson’s six career All-Pro seasons came in Minnesota. He was a key part of offensive lines that paved the way for legendary running backs Shaun Alexander and Adrian Peterson.
Seattle drafted Hutchinson in the first round (17th overall pick) of the 2001 draft. He signed with the Vikings as a free agent before the 2006 seaso, and ended his NFL career with one season in Tennessee in 2012.
Hutchinson is joined by Steve Atwater, Isaac Bruce, Edgerrin James and Troy Polamalu as the "modern players" voted into the the Class of 2020.
The 2020 enshrinement ceremony takes place in August at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.
