Man shot in leg in Eden Prairie; 2 in custody

Police have arrested two men in connection to a domestic incident that led to one suspect being shot in the leg early Wednesday morning in Eden Prairie.

According to the Eden Prairie Police Depertment, officers responded to a report that a man had been shot in the leg around 1:10 a.m. on the 6000 block of Promontory Drive.

Officers arrested a 73-year-old man at the scene. The 25-year-old man who was shot was taken into custody after he was released from the hospital. Both men are being held on suspicion of second-degree assault.

Police say no other suspects were involved and all weapons involved in the incident have been recovered.
