COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 10 new deaths, 657 new cases; state surpasses 1M vaccinations administered
Wednesday, Wisconsin health officials announced 10 new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 6,214 deaths since the pandemic began.
Additionally, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) reported 76 new hospitalizations, moving the total number of hospitalizations during the pandemic to 25,498.
A total of 556,989 positive cases of COVID-19 have now been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 657 new cases reported Wednesday.

As of Wednesday, DHS reports that more than 3.13 million people have been tested in the state.
The state’s seven-day average positivity rate by test is at 3.1%.
DHS said the state has been allocated 1,410,300 vaccine doses so far. Of those, 1,023,576 had been administered as of Wednesday, and 263,877 people had completed the two-shot vaccine series.
