Pine County sheriff cancels missing person alert for Wisconsin woman
The Pine County Sheriff’s Office has canceled the missing person alert for Ashley Miller Carlson.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension officially issued the update Tuesday morning.
The remains of the 33-year-old mother of four, who had been missing since Sept. 23, were found Saturday, according to family.
According to the sheriff’s office, the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office positively identified Carlson’s remains.
Authorities are continuing to investigate.
