Q&A: Andrew Albers looking forward to rejoining Twins organization

Starting pitcher Andrew Albers is back with the Twins, signing a non-roster contract that includes an invitation to spring training.
We caught up with Albers from his location in Saskatchewan, via Zoom, as he awaits clearance from the Canadian government with his request for a work visa. He hopes to be able to fly to Fort Myers in the coming days.

In parts of four MLB seasons spilt between the Minnesota Twins, Toronto Blue Jays and Seattle Mariners, Albers, 35, has posted a career 7-6 record with a 4.10 ERA. He spent time with the Twins in 2013 and 2016.
Albers spent the last three years pitching for a team in Japan.
Albers, who expects to start the season at Triple-A St. Paul, also had an offer from the Seattle Mariners.
