We connected with the unbeaten Lakeville South football team in Dundas, as they prepare for Friday night’s 6A Prep Bowl vs. 1-loss Maple Grove.
Lakeville South hasn’t lost a game since the 2019 playoffs vs. eventual state champ Wayzata, reeling off 21 consecutive wins. Lakeville South was voted the 2020 Associated Press state champions, but didn’t get to play in the Prep Bowl since it was canceled due to the Covid pandemic.
This week offers a chance for Lakeville South to hoist a state title trophy, something they were on their way to doing last year before the cancellation.
