Wisconsin health officials on Friday announced 35 new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 6,267 deaths since the pandemic began.
Additionally, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) reported 79 new hospitalizations, moving the total number of hospitalizations during the pandemic to 25,635.
A total of 558,496 positive cases of COVID-19 have now been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 774 new cases reported Friday.

As of Friday, DHS reports that more than 3.14 million people have been tested in the state.
The state’s seven-day average positivity rate by test is at 2.9%.
DHS said the state has been allocated 1,410,300 vaccine doses so far. Of those, 1,119,705 had been administered as of Friday, and 314,762 people had completed the two-shot vaccine series.
