Woman dies after train hits vehicle in Moorhead

A woman died after the vehicle she was in was hit by a train Saturday afternoon in Moorhead.
Moorhead Police said officers responded to the 10 block of 14th Street South on a report of a crash involving a train at about 1:58 p.m. Saturday.
Officers found a vehicle driven by an 87-year-old woman had been hit by an eastbound train.
The woman was taken to a hospital but later died from her injuries.
Police identified her as Lila Hoyme, of Dilworth.
The crash remains under investigation.
