Missing Fridley woman found dead

A Fridley woman who was reported missing has been found dead.

Last week, police asked for the public’s help finding 48-year-old Angelique Christine Lepsch. Minneapolis Police said Monday that Lepsch was found dead.

Authorities said Lepsch’s vehicle was found near the Lowry Bridge in Minneapolis, and efforts between Fridley Police, Minneapolis Police and the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Water Patrol were coordinated to search for Lepsch.

It’s unclear when or where Lepsch’s body was found. That information, along with Lepsch’s cause of death, is expected to be released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office in the coming days.
