Klobuchar remains cancer-free following results from recent exam

U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar provided an update Wednesday that her results from her first six-month post-cancer exam were clear.

Klobuchar revealed she was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer earlier this year.

She said, at that time, doctors detected cancer during a routine mammogram.

The senator said she had the cancer removed.

"I’m so grateful to be healthy and thankful for my family, friends, and the incredible doctors and nurses who have helped me," Klobuchar stated Wednesday.

Good news to share: I got my results back from my first 6-month post-cancer exam & everything was clear. I’m so grateful to be healthy and thankful for my family, friends, and the incredible doctors and nurses who have helped me.
