The Minnesota Vikings are close to getting two key players back on the field.
The team announced Wednesday that safety Harrison Smith was activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 list after missing the past two games.
Additionally, cornerback Patrick Peterson was designated for return from the injured reserve list. While that doesn’t guarantee Peterson will play in Sunday’s game against Green Bay, it’s a step closer to his return.
