UPDATE: In an update Thursday, St. Paul police reported the man found dead near the intersection of East 10th and North Minnesota streets Wednesday night died from natural causes.
Police issued the update Thursday afternoon, citing the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office.

St. Paul police were called to the intersection of East 10th and North Minnesota streets on Wednesday around 7 p.m. on a report of a suspicious death.
When first responders arrived, they found a man on the sidewalk who was pronounced dead by St. Paul firefighters.
Police said more information will be available once the medical examiner releases a cause of death.

We’re on a suspicious death call that occurred at about 7 pm near 10th and Minnesota. A man was found on the sidewalk and pronounced dead by St. Paul Fire.
