We’re in for much cooler weather this week, and high temperatures are expected to be consistently below average for this time of year, according to KSTP meteorologist Nicole Mitchell.
Monday looks to be cloudy and windy with a high of 57 degrees. There’s about a 30% chance for spotty afternoon showers as well.
For most of the week, highs will remain in the 50s and 60s, and some models have the Twin Cities metro stuck in the 40s on Friday. That means there’s a good chance we could see frost by the end of the week, Mitchell said.
There are some slight chances for showers throughout the week, but September’s precipitation totals are projected to finish way below average.
