Stillwater claims Class 3A girls’ soccer championship

Nell Smith scored the only goal of the game as Stillwater defeated Centennial 1-0 for the Class 3A girls’ soccer championship Saturday morning at U.S. Bank Stadium.
It’s Stillwater’s third state title and first since 1998.

In the Class 2A girls’ championship, Mahtomedi beat Benilde-St. Margaret’s 3-1 for their 10th state title.
