Hot and humid weather expected for Sunday, thunderstorms possible next week

Sunday will be hot and humid with the high in the upper 80s, almost to 90 degrees, according to KSTP Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas.
The Heat Index Values on Sunday is likely to be between 88 and 98 degrees, but the hottest conditions are expected to happen on Tuesday and Wednesday, said Yuhas.
Monday is expected to be partly cloudy and humid with a slight chance for thunderstorms in the evening. According to Yuhas, some of the storms could be severe.
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are expected to have a high of 90 degrees and the low is expected to be in the 70s.
The remains of the tropical storm Marco and Laura is likely to enhance rainfall in thunderstorms over the Twin Cities and southern Minnesota on Wednesday and Thursday.
