Beautiful weather is in store this week once some Monday morning rain passes through.
According to KSTP Meteorologist Wren Clair, some thunderstorms could roll through the metro after midnight Monday morning. That weather will hang around until around 10 a.m., at which point the clouds will start to clear out for a sunny but windy day with a high temperature of 73.
The rest of the week is projected to have more sunny weather with highs predominantly in the 70s — the one exception being on Wednesday, when we could see a high in the low 80s, Clair said.
This week might be the time to break out your jacket, as lows will consistently dip into the 50s at night.
