Group of fathers, sons narrowly escape injury as storm topples trees on their tents in BWCA
A group of fathers and sons narrowly escaped injury when Wednesday’s storms toppled trees at their campsite in the Boundary Water’s Canoe Area.
The trees fell on their tents and destroyed everything, however, no one was hurt. The group sheltered under a tarp for the rest of the storm.
Wednesday was the same night that an EF-4 tornado in the northwestern part of Minnesota killed one and injured at least 2 others.
