Vikings to host COVID-19 vaccine clinic during Halloween game vs. Dallas

The Minnesota Vikings will host a COVID-19 vaccination clinic and on-site reward giveaway during the team’s upcoming game against Dallas on Oct. 31.

Gov. Tim Walz’s office announced the news Thursday, noting that boosters will also be available to eligible Minnesotans, in addition to first or second doses.

As part of the "Skol Up Your Sleeves" giveaway, Minnesotans 18 and older who get vaccinated at the clinic will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win tickets to the Vikings game against Chicago on Jan. 9. One winner will be drawn and will receive a pair of tickets to the Polaris Club for the game.

Minnesotans 12 and older who get the vaccine at the pop-up clinic outside U.S. Bank Stadium will also receive autographed mini-helmets while supplies last. The pop-up clinic will be open from 4-7 p.m. and will administer Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer vaccines. No game ticket or appointment is required for the clinic.
