Friday will be a hot day with the chance for some strong storms.
KSTP Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas said severe thunderstorms with damaging winds are possible late Friday night and into Saturday morning.

High temperatures will be around 90 degrees with lows in the mid-70s.
Saturday will be even hotter with chances for some more severe weather in the evening before Sunday cools off slightly and more sunshine returns.
