For the second night in a row, Interstate 494 is closing in both directions between Highway 169 and Highway 212 in Eden Prairie. The roadway will shut down at 10 p.m. Friday and reopen by 5 a.m. Saturday. The detour takes drivers north of I-494 to Highway 62.

But there’s better news for the Interstate 35W Downtown to the Crosstown project. The ramps from I-35W northbound to 5th Avenue/11th Street/Grant Street are reopening Friday. The Minnesota Department of Transportation also plans to reopen the ramp from 10th Street/4th Avenue to I-35W southbound. All ramps will reopen by 7 p.m.
