Volunteers worked to show health care workers how thankful they are for their efforts on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Over the past three weeks, members of Grace Fellowship Church in Brooklyn Park made nearly 300 care baskets and delivered them to workers at Unity and Mercy hospitals Wednesday.

"We just know of people that work in hospitals. We know they’re putting in so much time and effort in and we just wanted to do something to show that we really appreciate them and everything that they’re doing for us," said Vada Stoddard, a church summer intern.

The baskets had snacks, lotions, socks and activity books.
