After a weekend of beautiful, sunny weather, we’re going to start the week with some cooler temperatures, increasing clouds and possible precipitation.
Clouds will start rolling through the metro Monday, and we could see some rain showers in the early evening, although rain is more likely to fall overnight heading into Tuesday, KSTP Meteorologist Wren Clair said.
There’s a chance some of that rain will stick around throughout the day Tuesday, and western Minnesota can generally expect heavier rainfall, Clair said.
Some isolated showers could linger into Wednesday, but for the most part we can expect a mix of sun and clouds.
Temperatures throughout the week are forecast to be slightly below average, Clair said. Highs will hover between the high 50s and low 60s most days, and low temperatures will get down into the high 30s toward the end of the week.
