Power restored after overnight outage affects Delta ticket counters

Travelers at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport ran into some delays Monday morning.

Those flying out of the airport via Delta Air Lines experienced the delays after airport officials said there was an overnight power outage that led to Delta only being able to check passengers in on the airport’s tram level. That level is two below ticketing.

A 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS crew at the airport reported seeing long lines for Delta customers.

Officials said power was restored at about 5:45 a.m. and all ticket counters are back up and running.
