No. 4 Chaska takes down No. 9 Robbinsdale Armstrong

The No. 4 Chaska Hawks defeated the No. 9 Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons 17-6, Friday night at Robbinsdale Armstrong High School.

Chaska kicked things off when senior running back Jack Boyle scored a short touchdown run to make it 7-0 Hawks with 4:34 left in the first quarter.
Then, at the end of the first half, Chaska senior quarterback Brayden Sanders scored a rushing touchdown to make it 14-0 Hawks with just 12 second remaining in the half.
Chaska’s opening second-half possession lasted over eight minutes. However, the Falcons forced a turnover on downs. But, just two plays later, Chaska junior Myles Meiller intercepted a pass to give the Hawks the ball right back.
On their ensuing drive, Chaska kicked a field goal to go up 17-0 with 8:56 left in the game.
The Falcons finally got on the board when junior quarterback Jamen Malone found junior wideout Marquan Tucker for a deep touchdown catch to make it 17-6 Hawks with 7:19 left in the game. Armstrong then recovered their onside kick attempt.
Falcons were driving to make it a closer game, but then Meiller snagged his second interception of the game for Chaska.
The Hawks improve to 7-0 on the season.
