BBQ teams support first responders in Eagan

A group in Eagan banded together Wednesday to feed first responders.

Normally, the barbecue teams would’ve been competing against each other, but they decided to cook up ribs, chicken, cornbread and coleslaw for a better cause.

The food was dished up in the parking lot of Cedarvale Lanes in Eagan.

Organizers said six teams of BBQ artists made the work their priority Wednesday.

The food fed hundreds of people throughout the day.
