Couple has drive-by wedding reception in Minneapolis

A new type of wedding reception was done in Minneapolis on Friday.

Employees from Hennepin Healthcare’s physical therapy department cheered as their co-worker Alex Lee surprised his new wife, Kelsey, with a drive-by reception.

The initial wedding did not go exactly as planned; there were only two witnesses and the officiant in attendance.

Instead of a banquet, Alex and Kelsey picked up takeout and drove home to their apartment in Hopkins.
