Parade held for Osseo girl fighting rare form of cancer

It was a special homecoming this weekend for a three-year-old Osseo girl battling a rare, and aggressive, form of cancer.
Osseo police and firefighters led the way as Olivia—who was allowed to go home this weekend after her second, month-long stay in the hospital undergoing treatment—celebrated her return home.
Olivia was two years old when she was diagnosed with high-risk neuroblastoma in July last year and it’s been almost a year of intense treatment.
The family watched the parade from their doorstep. They’ve been quarantined from friends and family, even before the COVID-19 pandemic, due to due Olivia’s diagnosis.
The family has set up a GoFundMe page to help cover the on-going medical costs.
