Rain showers, mild temperatures ahead

It looks like we’re going to get some much-needed April showers after all, even if it’s coming at the end of the month.

KSTP Meteorologist Nicole Mitchell said we can anticipate some precipitation in the week ahead, starting with scattered showers throughout the day Sunday and possible thunderstorms in the evening. Expect a high around 66 and a low in the high 40s.

Then Monday through Wednesday we’ll see more chances for rain, with the likeliest event of soaking rain on Tuesday, Mitchell said.

Temperatures look to be about average, if not slightly above, throughout the week.
