3 arrested after stolen vehicle pursuit ends on Hwy 7 in Minnetonka

Three people were arrested early Thursday morning after a pursuit that ended on Highway 7 in Minnetonka.

South Lake Minnetonka Police said officers were called about suspicious activity around Boulder Bridge at 3:30 a.m. An officer then spotted a suspicious vehicle and initiated a pursuit.

Minnetonka and Deephaven police helped by deploying stop sticks on Highway 7 and the suspect vehicle crashed at Williston Road, damaging a Minnetonka Police squad.

According to police, officers then learned the suspect vehicle had been recently stolen out of a garage on Lake Virginia Drive.

Police arrested three people. Officers also found a gun in the vehicle and a second near the crash.

An investigation remains active.

Police urged people to immediately call 911 upon seeing any suspicious activity and to not approach the subjects.
