In St. Anthony, the second annual Winterfest turned out to be a preview of spring.

Saturday’s event at Central Park featured hug-a-husky with sled dogs from Grand Marais, as well as a corn hole golf course and a spouse-carrying contest.

Despite a high temperature in the 50s, organizers weren’t complaining.

"We created this festival to get the community together after a long winter," said organizer Chad Gillard. "It’s fun to get out and see your neighbors who you haven’t seen since October."

The event raised money for a local charity, Nourish 282.
