Clouds, rain expected Monday

After Minnesotans had the opportunity to enjoy sunshine Sunday, rain and clouds are on the way Monday, according to KSTP Meteorologist Sam Ryan.

Ryan said a rain and snow mix is expected to make its way through the area overnight Sunday and will remain until Monday afternoon.

Temperatures are likely to reach a high of the low 40s during the day.

Moving into Tuesday, the sun is expected to return with temperatures in the 40s.

Ryan said more storms could make their way to the state Wednesday and Thursday, potentially turning into snow by Thursday night.
