No. 2 Andover steamrolls Coon Rapids 49-13

Andover’s Connor Develice threw five touchdown passes as the Huskies took down Coon Rapids, 49-13 on Friday night in Andover. The Huskies could not be stopped on the ground or in the air and proved why they’re ranked #2 in Class 5A.

Coon Rapids scored on its opening drive to take the early lead 7-0. That was a short-lived lead as Develice marched his team down the field in less than 2-minutes to tie the game at seven. The Huskies finished with 317 yards passing in the game, Develice finished with 268 yards and 5 touchdowns on 15 of 25 passing. Nine receivers caught passes for Andover.
Huskies senior running back Caden Wheeler did most of the damage on the ground. He ran the ball 15 times for 128 yards and a touchdown. The Huskies compiled 535 yards of total offense.
Andover will travel to Monticello next Friday night.
