After 38 years of being Legislative Auditor, Jim Nobles will end his career of investigating and holding accountable all areas of state government. Nobles, who officially retires on Tuesday, sits down with Tom Hauser this week on “At Issue” to explain the importance of the office – and highlight some of the bigger cases he’s handled.
Meanwhile, there still isn’t an agreement between Republicans and DFLers on how to distribute $250 million in pandemic-related bonus pay. Republicans announced their own plan this week, which was met with immediate criticism by some labor groups and DFL lawmakers.
