16-year-old hospitalized after Brooklyn Park shooting, 17-year-old in custody

A 16-year-old was hospitalized after a shooting at a Brooklyn Park apartment building Thursday.
At about 8:30 p.m., Brooklyn Park police reported officers responded to a report of a shooting at a building along 78th Avenue North.
Upon arrival, officers found the teen suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Police said the teen was transported to a nearby hospital and is expected to be OK.
Brooklyn Park police reported officers took a 17-year-old male suspect into custody.
The incident remains under investigation.
